WOW!! It's so soon! PRAISE - I have all the money to cover the project cost :) God has definitely proven faithful and provided finances for the summer. The past few days I have had mixed feelings about June 1st coming so quickly. One minute I'm so excited and the next I'm terrified! I fully expected this (actually, I expected to be much more afraid!) and am sure it will continue even as I arrive in Ocean City. Right now excitement is taking over and I can't wait to begin the drive Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, I still have a lot of packing to do before I can leave town. The girls who are already there have spread the word that space is limited, making it even more difficult to choose what I can and cannot live without for 10 weeks.
Today I found out that Kristin will be leading a discipleship group for me, Grace, Amanda, and Rachel. Kristin discipled me for the last semester at school, so I am looking forward to learning more from her and being challenged by her. I'm sure God has a reason for this particular group of women and I am excited to see each of us grow individually and together.
I still don't fully know what to expect when it comes to jobs, living situations, outreach events, or anything really....but I know that this summer spent in Ocean City will be GOOD. Keep us in your prayers :)
